Ancient Wisdom for Modern Life

There is an archetype quietly returning to women's lives — the Wisdom Keeper. Across this series, we start with the feelings many women actually search for - invisibility, irrelevance, "what do I have to offer now" — and move into the deeper archetype, history, and practice underneath those feelings: her Egyptian and European roots, her relationship to the body, her shadow, her grief, and what she actually looks like lived in ordinary, modern days.

Read in order, or jump to whichever piece speaks to where you are.

The Series

  1. Why Do I Feel Invisible After 50? (And What It's Actually Asking of You):
The feeling so many women search for late at night — what's actually behind it, and why it might be a signal rather than a loss.

  2. What Do I Have to Offer Now? Finding Purpose and Relevance After 50 :
The quieter, harder question underneath the invisibility and what the research actually says about wisdom in this life stage.

  3. The Return of the Wisdom Keeper in Modern Day :
What this archetype is, why she's returning now, and why modern life made her disappear in the first place.

  4. The Seven Soul Bodies: An Egyptian Map for the Wisdom Keeper The ancient Egyptian framework - Ka, Ba, Sa, Ra, Ib, Sheut, Sekhem — that maps her structurally rather than only mythically.

  5. The Issues Are in the Tissues: Why the Body Remembers What the Mind Forgets How the body holds emotional memory, and why this matters in a season defined by real physical change.

  6. The Crone Before the Word Became an Insult Reclaiming one of the most distorted words in the English language, and what it actually represented.

  7. When a Woman No Longer Bleeds: Reclaiming the Wisdom Keeper Phase The series' emotional centre — menopause as initiation rather than decline, and what ancient cultures understood that modern culture has forgotten. 2 Blog 00

  8. The Wisdom Keeper's Shadow: When Wisdom Becomes a Costume An honest look at where this archetype curdles into performance, and how to tell the difference in yourself.

  9. What the Wisdom Keeper Grieves The losses rarely named in conversations about this season and why grieving them fully matters.

  10. The Wisdom Keeper in Practice: What She Actually Does Now Less myth, more Monday morning - what this archetype actually looks like lived, day to day.
